If you are into good and state-of-the-art pop music, the debut single ‘Hallway’ of Danish singer Mikkel. His way led Mikkel from aming to be a professional badminto player to music. ‘Hallway’ has a great production and a catchy beat in the style of Harry Styles’ hit song ‘As it was’ or recent Ava Max’ singles – a forward moving 80s-pattern that all over the musical landscape today.
“I listen a lot to artists like Lewis Capaldi and Harry Styles, and I probably can’t escape the fact that my music leans on their sound“, says Mikkel, whose surname is Trusell Mortensen.
“I wrote and recorded ‘Hallway’ the same day I bought an engagement ring for my girlfriend. When I got home from the studio, I played it for her, but even though I’m actually singing about proposing in the song, she didn’t suspect it until I got down on one knee six weeks later”, Mikkel
The song is the first single from Mekkel’s debut album ‘Until We Rise Up’,’ and it isproduced by Elias Danielsen, who has worked with the likes of Maximillian and Alexander Oscar.
