New music from Copenhagen-based art-rock/pop band Blaue Blume is arriving with their new single ‘Crush’. The song is a fantastic uptempo track with super-catchy vocals and indie-guitar-playing just as is should be. We see this melodic gem being played at both radio and the indie-clubs. It sounds modern and yet classy at the same time.
“’Crush’ is pretty much about getting your relationship to sparkle again when you both get stuck in all the practical stuff and everyday life. The song is about dancing and making out again with the one you went out of your way to get, reminding yourself that you really shouldn’t take love for granted. ‘Crush’ is a tribute to girlfriends and boyfriends,” lead singer, Jonas Schmidt, explains.
Blaue Blume have been around the music scene awhile where they caught our attention and gained fans all over Europe. The band consists of singer Jonas Schmidt, drummer Søren Buhl Lassen and guitarist Buster Jensen.
The single – which is released on the legendary label hfn music – also includes the ballad-esque song ‘Country’ that shows a more deeper side of the trio and was released originally four month ago with a live video. In 2023 there will be a chance to see Blaue Blume live in Denmark, and hopefully abroad too.
