Danish Brit-pop-duo The Oceans – consiting of Dan and Linus – are back after a break of a few years. And they released a great song with less noise and a good, typical britpop-melody. Combined with synth-drums and analogue synth-lines this is good mixture of Britpop, Retro-Pop and LoFi-athmosphere.
‘In the studio, we’ve used references to bands like The Raveonettes, but also things like The Lion King, Bruno Mars and Dolly Parton in order to challenge the way we normally write music‘ says the band.
There is a debut-album coming on March, 25th. And when it goes in the same direction as ‘Did you know’ this will represent the Zeitgeist in a perfect way.
The song is produced by Noah Rosannes (Nelson Can, Johan Kolstrup, Ida Gard).
