Danish synth-duo ROYA have established themselves as a source of quality music with catchy choruses. Singer Line Gade delivers great vocals that fit perfectly into the soundscapes – and she is playing the lead role in the video, that is actually a short film.
The danish indie-pop-duo will release the second part of the video together with their already completed debut-EP, which sounds promising and not at all as a debut of a band. Their sound is already straight on point.
“The first chapter states the brave act of chasing love but under the surface it’s a story of loss and deprivation. We wanted to play with contrasts visually between the apparently sad mood of the main character whom I play, and the superficial joy from the ecstatic people that surround the character. We love this nostalgic vintage universe with the defined contrasts and we think it matches the theme in ‘Feel Something’ about letting yourself go and embracing the colors, surroundings and maybe even love. Despite the darkness in my character, she’s definitely giving herself a try – but what lies beneath is still to be told,” Line Gade says.
We have written about the band before when the song ‘Kinda sad‘ came out. – Give this one a worthy spin too.
