I was a king from Egersund/Oslo in Norway is a band consisting of Frode Strømstad, Anne Lise Frøkedal and Ole Reidar Gudmestad. Their style could be classified in powerpop, somtimes shoegaze – and a good portion of Teenage Fanclub is in it. This is obvious, because the new album I Love It Here is produced by Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and Robyn Hitchcock.
It is an album packed with warm harmonies and flowing melody lines – sweet!
