Hajk is one of the bands from Norway, that is listed as one of the next big things coming from the north. The Oslo-based group released the high-class self-titled debut album in the beginning of the year.
And with “Somebody else” they have released a video for the song that is our absolute favourite on this record: Wonderful melancholic songwriting, a warm sound, the weeping guitars and the strong chorus is so timeless and just good music.
It reminds us from the mood of the painful sweet “All apologies” of Happiness from 2014 – which is also a just perfect song.
And by the way – Hajk will play at the Vill Vill Vest – Festival in Bergen at the end of September – a must-see!
