Electric Lady Lab is a Danish elektro-pop duo made up of producer and songwriter Martin Bøge Pedersen and vocalist Stine Hjelm Jacobsen. They first got our attention by doing kind of a cover version of Snap’s “Rythm of a dancer”, pumping a new melodyline over the remarkable synth-hook. Then they did the same with a-ha’s “The sun always shines on TV”. And now they are back with a new track, less dance-orientated than before and with a high-pitched voice as a chorus. What we like about them is that they just different – their songs sound familiar, but have always a new touch in it.
