It has been long 8 years since Synthpop-Queen Robyn released an album or own music and not a collaboration. A long time where many things have changed in the music scene – but she returns with “Missing U”, a song that would fit so perfect in the area of “With every heartbeat” and “Dancing on my own“.
Written by her and long-time musical partner Klas Åhlund with Metronomy it immediately catches with the substances that are so unique: The warm, floating synthesizer sounds, the pumping basslines, synth-pad sounds that open up and on top her voice with perfect pop melodies.
We can’t wait to hear the whole new album that is on the way.
