The singer with the big amount of sad songs is back and has released two new songs at once, whereas Deep End is the official “single”. She has chosen a quite different approach than the garage-acoustic sound-base from the the last one. Much more electronic end with unexpected Trap-elements – but don’t worry: The Lykke Li-typical melodies and texts are there too.
She has worked with an amount of fresh producers on her new album: Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean), Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Rihanna), Rostam (Solange Knowles, HAIM), Illangelo (The Weeknd), Jonny Coffer (Beyonce, Naughty Boy, Sam Smith), DJ Dahi (BANKS, Ty Dolla Sign), T-Minus (Kendrick Lamar, Drake), Skrillex and Emile Haynie (Eminem, Lana Del Rey, Dua Lipa). She collaborted with Ilsey Juber (Beyoncé, Drake, Kanye, Majid Jordan, Camila Cabello u.a.) as songwriting partner and is new on SONY Music – that sounds promising!
The other song she has posted is “Hard rain”:
The new album “so sad so sexy” will be out on June 8th 2018.
