With “We & I”, in Berlin residing danish pop-lad Asbjørn is again on front of catchy and state of the art songs that flow between indie- and chart-style.
Sounds that you may remember from fellow danish singer Mø’s Kamikaze and the Max Martin-styled stuttering, that makes almost everytime a hitsong are included in this synth-pop gem.
Asbjørn about “We & I”: “We & I is a fuck-you-but-I-love-you kind of song. Writing it was like taking back the power over my own heart, like a personal mantra to celebrate that, despite the heartache, someone finally hit me so hard that being myself was no longer enough; it had to be we instead of I.”
An album called “BOY PWR” is in the making.
