The Amsterdam based artist and singer Nina June has a new E.P. out, following her album ‘Bon Voyage’ in 2018, this time on the label Nettwerk. We had an article of the lead single ‘Rainbow Ashes’ here.
The song is a cinematic masterpiece with the piano-based melody with additional strings – and overall the unique voice of Nina June.
This fragile style is also part of the the title track “Our Garden”:
‘Trust fall’ is – as almost every song – a perfect soundtrack for an imaginary movie.
‘Like an enemy’ has a more band- and instruments-based character and sounds like a timeless classic with that thriving chorus.
With ‘World on Fire’ Nina June delivers another very atmospheric piece of art.
