It is often a good sign, when there is a label on it and you get what you expect. This is just the case with ‘Change’, the new single of swedish singer LALEH, with internationally acclaimed ‘Some die young‘-fame. The new song has all those unique elements in it that make her outstanding: The little “Yeah”-Samples, an electronic soundbed, unique chord-changes that she uses regularly – and besides that a melody line that gives her the chance to do the note-slides with her voice. ‘Changes’ is more like a power-ballad than a fast song and it is pop at it’s finest.
It is written by herself, recorded at the Lost Army Studios in Stockholm, mixed by Michael Ilbert (a-ha Cardigans, Roxette) at Hansa Mix Room in Berlin.
