Video-Premiere: Jennie Abrahamson – To the water

Swedish singer Jennie Abrahamson has made a video for her grooving song and latest track “To the water”, which came out in January and here is the video-premiere for Germany.

The moody video takes us on a journey that Jennie is describing this way:
“The idea for the video was to let the viewer follow my journey from the city to the sea. The whole plot of the lyrics is an ironic twist to saying – “yes, let me be righteous like you, baptise me to your faith so I won’t get lost” – and in the video, the city gets to represent what needs to be changed and washed off. The water represents the cleansing, and the walk itself – through the inner city to the suburbs and the woods and finally the water – represents the inner journey to find what is the true you. It was filmed in Stockholm during a cold night and morning in January, and it was directed and cut by Per Norman.”
