Songs of Boda – Garland

‘Songs of Boda’ is the moniker of Daniel Skoglund and with that he has released his fourth album now. Back in the days he has been a bandmember of Daniel Norgren or Rambling Nicholas Heron, so it is obvious that he makes good and handmade music with acoustic instruments.

‘Garland’ is wonderful dive into the sounds of Americana, which you can hear in the sounds of the warm sounds of ‘Pocket Call‘. He manages to create a special atmosphere where you can image sitting at the fire, drinking a good shot of Whisky and whipping with your feet while listening to the song.

This sets the mark for the other seven songs on the album, we like ‘Let the Song be slow’ very much – a wonderful melancholic balled.

And don’t miss the cool Session at Backseat Sessions from the previous E.P. with ‘Where my hands might go’
