What can you say about a new song – the first single of her new album ‘Infections Of A Different Kind Step 2’ – of AURORA? It seems all words have been used to describe the sound, voice and vibe: Unique, outer-worldly, catchy, pop, Indie, crystal-clear, local hero, etc. And yet ‘Animal’ fits in this descriptions very well. Super-catchy and danceable, recognizable and with a super weird video. So everything is on its place – and that is perfect that way.
” I spend a lot of time thinking about humans. And I wanted to make a a song wrapped in a blanket of obliviousness while speaking the wonderful and horrible truth that I see in us. We are always thriving for something. If it’s love, money, sex, success, power or just a bigger piece of a delicious chocolate cake. It’s very interesting. Its grotesque. It’s beautiful. We are always hunting for something. We are animals hunting for animals .” AURORA says.
