“There’s a new player in town” you could say about Ellen Sundberg from Sweden. In only 2 years the 23-year old singer/songwriter created her musical profile with 2 albums and gained a growing fan-base.
This seems a tough program, but Ellen went on to write and record her third album “Cigarette Secrets” with her folkpop-sound in the Dreamland Recording Studios in Woodstock which gets good critics and comparisons with Lykke Li, Robyn or First Aid Kit.
„Favorite Town“ is the first single out of it and it is a really moving track with a catchy beat and refrain – she is really moving between the world of folk and pop. Very radio-friendly and we can see that her success will grow bigger and bigger with songs like this.
