CAUSES from the Netherlands is a quartet consisting of Rupert Blackman, Jan Schröder, Simon Boeing-Messing and Robert Pronk and they managed in a short amount of time to generate a very unique, laid-back soundscape for their songs – and to release a really perfect debut album, which holds outstanding tracks like Teach me how to dance with you or Walk on water.
With soundwise reminiscences to the good ol’ Eighties, crispy clear sound and strong melodies, this band is here to stay.
Their new song Fall from glory is no exception from this golden rule and this deserves much more promotion abroad just the Netherlands.
